Monitor and maintain the overall safety and security of the store premises.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or behaviors to the appropriate authorities.
Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify potential security risks and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor the store and identify any security threats.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety.
Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security plans and protocols.
Conduct thorough investigations of any reported incidents or losses, and provide detailed reports to management.
Work closely with law enforcement agencies and provide necessary support in case of any legal proceedings.
Train and educate store employees on proper security procedures and protocols.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents, losses, and investigations.
Identify and implement measures to prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks.
Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the overall security of the store.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as fire, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.
Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any security concerns or questions.
Uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Can Effectively Communicate And Understand Policies And Procedures.
Prior Experience In Retail Security: Experience In Retail Security Is Preferred For This Position, As It Requires Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Cctv Monitoring, And Apprehension Procedures. Candidates With Previous Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention Will Have An Advantage.
Strong Observational And Analytical Skills: Asset Protection Agents Need To Be Vigilant And Have Excellent Observational Skills To Identify Potential Security Risks. They Should Also Have The Ability To Analyze Information And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.
Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, Employees, And Law Enforcement. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Different Stakeholders In Various Situations.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours: Asset Protection Agents May Be Required To Work Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, Depending On The Store's Operating Hours. Candidates Should Be Willing And Able To Work Flexible Schedules To Meet The Needs Of The Store.
