Oversee the cashiers and ensure efficient and accurate checkout procedures are followed.
Train and mentor new cashiers on company policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their purchases.
Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and registers are functioning properly.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and employees.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and pricing to assist customers with their inquiries.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and preparing daily deposits.
Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to cashiers to ensure coverage and efficiency.
Collaborate with management to implement new procedures and improve checkout processes.
Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times while representing the company.
