- Train and develop cashiers to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards.
- Act as a role model for excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including cash registers, customer service desk, and checkout lanes.
- Monitor and maintain proper cash handling procedures and cash register balances.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve front-end operations and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to cashiers.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of all store policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of necessary front-end supplies, such as bags and receipt paper.
- Uphold all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and store assets.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, as needed.
- Act as a liaison between customers and management, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Strong Customer Service Skills: A Head Cashier At Lowe's Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Customers.
Cash Handling Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Handling Cash And Operating A Cash Register In A Retail Environment.
