- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with loading their purchases into their vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized loading area to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for customers.
- Operate equipment such as carts, dollies, and forklifts to assist with loading and unloading merchandise.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both customers and fellow employees.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate assistance.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely loading of customer purchases.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management to contribute to the overall success of the store.
Physical Strength And Stamina: This Job Requires Heavy Lifting, Pushing, And Pulling Of Merchandise, So Candidates Must Have The Physical Ability To Handle These Tasks On A Daily Basis.
Attention To Detail: Loaders/Cart Associates Must Be Able To Accurately And Efficiently Load Merchandise Onto Carts And Trucks, Ensuring That Items Are Secure And Properly Organized For Transportation.
Customer Service Skills: This Position Involves Frequent Interaction With Customers, So Candidates Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Friendly And Helpful Assistance.
Time Management Skills: Loaders/Cart Associates Must Be Able To Prioritize And Work Efficiently To Meet Tight Deadlines And Keep Up With The Fast-Paced Environment Of A Home Improvement Store.
