Job Description

You will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise for customers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
Help customers locate merchandise and provide product information as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves and keeping work areas tidy.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure a smooth flow of work and exceptional customer service.
Continuously monitor inventory levels and inform management of any shortages or discrepancies.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to support the overall functioning of the store.

Job Qualifications

Physical Strength And Stamina: As A Loader/Cart Associate, You Will Be Required To Lift And Move Heavy Items Such As Lumber, Appliances, And Building Materials On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Having The Physical Strength And Stamina To Perform These Tasks Is Essential.
Attention To Detail: As A Loader/Cart Associate, You Will Be Responsible For Loading And Unloading Customer Purchases Onto Carts And Into Vehicles. It Is Important To Have A Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Items Are Loaded Correctly And Securely To Prevent Damage During Transport.
Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of Lowe's, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Assist Customers With Their Purchases, Answer Questions, And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Teamwork And Communication: As A Loader/Cart Associate, You Will Be Working Closely With Other Team Members, Such As Sales Associates And Cashiers, To Ensure A Smooth And Efficient Shopping Experience For Customers. Therefore, The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively Is Crucial.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Working In A Home Improvement Store Can Be Dangerous If Safety Protocols Are Not Followed. As A Loader/Cart Associate, You Will Be Required To Follow All Safety Procedures And Ensure That Customers Are Also Following Safety Guidelines While Loading And Unloading Items. Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And The Ability To Enforce Them Is An Important Qualification For This Job.
