- Oversee all aspects of patient pre-arrival processes to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to improve the pre-arrival process and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Train and supervise staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and proficient in pre-arrival processes.
- Monitor and analyze patient pre-arrival data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure timely and accurate pre-arrival information.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards related to pre-arrival processes.
- Resolve any issues or concerns related to patient pre-arrival processes in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and address any pre-arrival questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pre-arrival processes and procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to patient pre-arrival to continuously improve processes.
- Work closely with the billing department to ensure accurate insurance verification and coverage for patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies and other external partners to facilitate pre-arrival processes.
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives to share updates, ideas, and collaborate on solutions.
- Manage the pre-arrival budget and make recommendations for necessary resources and investments.
- Represent the organization in a professional manner and uphold its mission and values.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Registration Or Pre-Arrival Services.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Insurance And Billing Processes, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Individuals.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And External Stakeholders.
