Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional patient care in accordance with MaineGeneral Health standards.
2. Assist physicians in clinical care activities, such as taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and administering injections.
3. Educate patients on medical treatments, medications, and preventive care.
4. Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing medical records, and maintaining patient charts.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
6. Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
7. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
8. Utilize medical equipment and diagnostic devices appropriately and safely.
9. Remain up-to-date on medical trends and best practices.
10. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals.
