MaineGeneral Health is currently searching for an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Geriatric Medicine. Our ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated professional who is committed to providing the highest quality of care for our geriatric patient population. With a passion for helping seniors, the Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing preventative and primary care, assessing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, and performing physical examinations. To be successful in this role, the Nurse Practitioner must have a strong knowledge of geriatric medicine, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to form meaningful relationships with patients and their families.Required Qualifications:• A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maine• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in the geriatric setting• A strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work collaboratively as part of the healthcare teamIf you believe you have the skills and qualifications to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you.
