  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI and X-Ray, in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Operate and maintain state-of-the-art radiology equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of images.
  3. Follow established protocols and safety measures to protect patients and staff during procedures.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  6. Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in the performance of duties.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper inventory and supplies are available for procedures.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper coordination of care and timely delivery of results.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care at all times.
  13. Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and ensure the privacy and security of patient information at all times.
  14. Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed to support department needs.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of MaineGeneral Health in all aspects of job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified And Licensed In Radiologic Technology By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Mri And X-Ray Procedures In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology

  • Familiarity With Operating And Maintaining Imaging Equipment, Including Troubleshooting Technical Issues

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, Including The Ability To Explain Procedures And Answer Questions In A Clear And Compassionate Manner.
