Job Description

We are looking for a talented and organized Group Practice Administrator to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). In this role, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the MGH group practice. To be successful in this position, you should have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with teams and departments within the hospital. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or a related field and at least five years of experience in a health care setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the MGH group practice, including scheduling, financials, and personnel.
  2. Collaborate with teams and departments within the hospital to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  3. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed correctly and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  4. Maintain a positive and effective patient experience by providing quality customer service.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  7. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  8. Address any complaints or issues from patients in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Ensure that all personnel adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
