Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong professional background in psychology and a passion for providing excellent patient care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients and who can effectively collaborate with our multidisciplinary health care team.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy. They will also develop and implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other mental health and medical professionals.The ideal candidate will possess an earned doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited university, along with a valid license to practice psychology in the state of Massachusetts. They must have a minimum of two years of post-doctoral experience working in a clinical setting. They should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently, and have an appreciation for the diverse needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Collaborate with other mental health and medical professionals to ensure an effective team approach to patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  5. Stay current with developments in the field of clinical psychology.
  6. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  7. Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
  8. Respect patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
