We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Adult Cystic Fibrosis team. As a Nurse in this role, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized and evidence-based care to our adult cystic fibrosis patients.   1. Provide exceptional care to adult cystic fibrosis patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patient progress, identifying any changes in condition and promptly addressing them.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on cystic fibrosis management and self-care techniques.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of care provided and any changes in patient status.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to patient care and safety.
  9. Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs are met.
  10. Stay current on advancements and developments in the treatment of cystic fibrosis, and integrate new knowledge into practice.
  11. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, acknowledging the challenges of living with a chronic condition.
  12. Act as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members, sharing expertise and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Adult Patients With Cystic Fibrosis.

  • Certification In Cystic Fibrosis Care, Such As The Certified Cystic Fibrosis Nurse (Ccrn) Credential.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
