  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals.
  3. Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to help patients regain their daily living skills.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence and safety.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
  10. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families, and maintain a patient-centered approach to care.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control, safety, and confidentiality.
  12. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the occupational therapy department and interdisciplinary team.
  13. Serve as a resource and mentor to other therapists, students, and support staff.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the hospital in a positive manner at all times.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through quality improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Current State License To Practice Occupational Therapy.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Acute Care Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Techniques In Occupational Therapy.
