
Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Massachusetts General Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide high-quality patient care and is committed to developing strong relationships with pediatric patients and their families.The successful applicant must have a Master's degree in Nursing and must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, the candidate must have at least three years of experience in pediatric nursing, including two years in an outpatient setting. Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to excellence, are required.The Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients. We seek an individual who is passionate about pediatric care and eager to make a difference in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for pediatric patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in order to ensure the best possible care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Document patient visits, assessments, and treatments according to established protocols.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and other treatments as needed.
- Perform physical exams and diagnose and treat pediatric patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced
