  6. Keep up-to-date on insurance and financial assistance policies and procedures, and communicate any changes or updates to team members.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and financial assistance applications.
  8. Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families during the financial assistance process.
  9. Identify and escalate any potential issues or barriers to receiving financial assistance for patients.
  10. Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills related to insurance and financial assistance processes.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate resolution of financial assistance inquiries.
  12. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  13. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to patient financial assistance.
  14. Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the financial assistance process.
