Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for mental health and a dedication to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. We require a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing, a valid RN and APRN licensure in the state of Massachusetts, and board certification in Psychiatric Nursing. Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and expert care to mental health patients
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• Develop individualized care plans for patients based on their needs
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to best serve patients
• Educate patients and family members on mental health conditions
• Administer and monitor medications as needed
• Document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes
• Stay current on best practices in psychiatric nursing
• Maintain valid RN and APRN licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Maintain board certification in psychiatric nursing
