Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist at Massachusetts General Hospital plays a vital role in helping to diagnose and treat patients. This position requires that you have a strong knowledge of radiography and the ability to operate complex imaging equipment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must possess a valid Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license, and a minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Operate complex imaging equipment in order to diagnose and treat patients.
  2. Maintain a strong knowledge of radiography and ensure that all imaging protocols are followed.
  3. Provide compassionate and expert care to patients.
  4. Utilize excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and staff.
  5. Multi-task and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  7. Maintain valid Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  8. Possess a valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
  9. Have a minimum of one year of hospital experience.
