
Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU

- Provide compassionate and skilled care to critically ill children and their families in the Pediatric ICU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the attending physician.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and families on their medical conditions and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as all relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to complex patient situations.
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that patient needs and concerns are addressed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for patients and staff.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Stay current with advancements and developments in pediatric nursing and apply new knowledge and techniques to patient care.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited University
Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Massachusetts
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Bls And Pals Certifications
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
