- Safely operate shuttle buses on designated routes throughout the hospital campus.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure of shuttle buses to designated stops.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by greeting and assisting them with boarding and disembarking from the shuttle bus.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment on the shuttle bus, including regular cleaning and disinfection.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hospital safety policies while operating the shuttle bus.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Keep accurate records of shuttle bus usage, including passenger counts and any incidents that may occur.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the shuttle bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading of passenger belongings as needed.
- Uphold the hospital’s values and mission by providing compassionate and professional service.
- Attend regular training sessions to maintain knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Display a positive and professional attitude at all times while representing the hospital.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all passengers on the shuttle bus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Passenger And Air Brake Endorsements.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Driving Shuttle Buses Or Large Vehicles.
Knowledge Of Traffic Laws, Safety Regulations, And Defensive Driving Techniques.
Ability To Communicate Effectively With Passengers And Coworkers.
Flexibility To Work Various Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays.
