- Develop and implement individualized strength and conditioning programs for a diverse population, including professional athletes and patients with varying fitness levels and conditions.
- Conduct fitness assessments and use data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to programs.
- Educate and motivate patients on proper exercise techniques and safe practices to help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in strength and conditioning to continuously improve and enhance programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate updates to relevant healthcare team members.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Act as a role model for healthy lifestyle habits and promote overall wellness to patients and staff.
- Continuously seek feedback and implement improvements to optimize patient experience and outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The National Strength And Conditioning Association (Nsca) Or The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience Working As A Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Exercise Science Principles.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Population Of Clients And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
