Job Description

We are looking for a Stress Technician to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence. The Stress Technician will be responsible for performing stress tests and other tests to evaluate and diagnose cardiovascular diseases.The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting and a current certification in stress testing from an accredited institution. They must be knowledgeable about basic medical terminology and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform stress tests and other tests to evaluate and diagnose cardiovascular diseases.
  2. Maintain accurate records of tests and results.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs during tests.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  5. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  6. Follow protocols for proper operation and maintenance of testing equipment.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  8. Assist in training new and existing staff on proper testing procedures.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Participate in research projects and initiatives, as needed.
