  1. Coordinate and manage administrative tasks for the Cardiac ICU, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and organizing patient charts.
  2. Ensure efficient and timely communication between medical staff, patients, and their families.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary supplies and equipment, and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of patient care is being provided.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized unit, including patient rooms, common areas, and supply closets.
  6. Act as a liaison between patients and their families, providing updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  7. Facilitate admissions and discharges, ensuring all necessary paperwork and procedures are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Assist in coordinating patient transfers and transport to other departments or facilities as needed.
  9. Follow hospital protocols and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations.
  10. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise in the unit, and communicate them to the appropriate staff members.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to unit coordination and healthcare administration.
  12. Adhere to and promote the hospital's mission, values, and standards of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, With A Current Rn License In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting, Preferably In A Cardiac Icu.

  • Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate And Delegate Tasks To A Team.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiac Care Protocols And Procedures, Including The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Patient Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Maintain Accurate Patient Records.
