
Cable Splicer (Coaxial)
The Coaxial Cable Splicer is a skilled field position in the installation and repair of Coaxial cable, responsible for performing splicing functions, either new to new or new to existing, once the cable has been placed then rearranging the existing cable. Perform Coaxial cold splicing and activation. Install and test pressurized and non-pressurized enclosures. Install and dress Coaxial cables, both vertically and horizontally. Test and troubleshoot Coaxial cables by utilizing all forms of testing equipment. Forward/reverse sweep and network verification Maintain Coaxial asset inventory and splicing records. Install and program Nodes(Optimization) and Amplifiers fiber and coaxial. Splice Coaxial line extenders and drops.

Knowledge and practice of safety regulations within OSHA, NESC, and NEC and other construction related guidelines.
