Analyst - M&A Business Development

MEDNAX is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Analyst – M&A Business Development to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for helping to identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions and other strategic initiatives. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who has a proven ability to take initiative and work independently to drive deals through to successful completion. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and financial modeling skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or M&A • Ability to identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions and strategic initiatives• Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills• Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems• Strong analytical and communication skills • High level of initiative and self-motivation • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition and strategic initiatives • Execute acquisitions and strategic initiatives in a timely manner • Develop financial models to assess potential deals • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to develop solutions to complex challenges • Create presentations to communicate ideas and solutions • Provide analytical and financial analysis to identify potential areas of optimization • Work independently and collaboratively to drive deals through to successful completion • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Monitor and evaluate M&A opportunities to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations outlining potential investments and recommendations for senior management
