Compliance Specialist

MEDNAX is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our organization's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare products and services nationwide. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality compliance services.The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of MEDNAX's compliance program. This includes implementing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure that MEDNAX is compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for conducting internal audits, providing compliance training and education, and ensuring compliance with other internal and external policies and procedures.The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Law, Business Administration, or Compliance. A minimum of two years of experience in a compliance role is also required. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner. In addition, the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor all aspects of MEDNAX's compliance program.
2. Implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
4. Provide compliance training and education.
5. Think critically and solve problems in a timely manner.
6. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
8. Monitor and report on compliance risks and trends.
9. Assist in the development and enforcement of compliance policies and standards.
10. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and violations.
