Job Description

Develops standard Engineering policies and procedures, including Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) and global Engineering Work Instructions (EWIs). Works with engineering directors and the VP-Engineering & Programs, to standardize governance of Engineering Sales Inventory Operations Planning (ESIOP) and Daily Layered Accountability (DLA). Responsible for governance of engineering milestones, taking into account the various customers of engineering: NPI programs, AR&T projects, sustaining engineering projects, manufacturing support, procurement support, and quality assurance support. Responsible for structured development program / general engineering onboarding for new hires – for example, defining training and procedures for what all engineers need to know and learn about the business as opposed to specific domain knowledge. Coordinates the Engineering co-op program with Human Resources and the various engineering teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.

  • Experience and proficient at working across functions within the organization.
