
Radiology Technician
We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused Radiology Technician to join the team at Miriam Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, hardworking healthcare professional looking for a rewarding career.The Radiology Technician at Miriam Hospital will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat illness. As part of the imaging team, the Radiology Technician will work closely with the Radiologists, Imaging Technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.We are looking for candidates who have strong technical and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, and must possess current certification as a Radiologic Technologist. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.If you have a passion for patient care and a dedication to providing quality diagnostic imaging services, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures to diagnose and treat illness, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Work closely with Radiologists, Imaging Technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Maintain patient data and records in accordance with standards.
- Monitor and operate imaging equipment.
- Ensure that imaging rooms are appropriately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide patient education and support regarding imaging procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain current knowledge of imaging technology and procedures.
- Attend continuing education courses to stay up to date on best practices.
