  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve healthcare operations and drive the success of the company.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of health plans to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  3. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new programs and initiatives that enhance member experience and quality of care.
  5. Lead and mentor a team of health plan operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and stay ahead of competition.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for health plan operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  8. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, members, and community organizations.
  9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on health plan operations and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and finding new ways to enhance operations and meet the needs of our members.
  11. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our mission and services.
  12. Remain updated on healthcare policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their growth and development.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or concerns related to health plan operations and work to resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Collaborate with other AVPs and executives to develop and implement company-wide strategies that align with the overall mission and goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Operations, Preferably In A Managed Care Setting

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Or Department

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Health Plan Operations, Including Claims Processing, Provider Network Management, And Member Services

  • Experience Working With Regulatory Agencies And Ensuring Compliance With State And Federal Guidelines For Health Plans.
