  1. Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage and negotiate government contracts with various agencies and entities.
  2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to government contracts.
  3. Monitor and analyze changes in government regulations and policies to anticipate potential impact on healthcare services delivery.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and contract partners to ensure successful collaboration.
  5. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on government contract requirements and processes.
  6. Oversee the development and submission of accurate and timely reports to government agencies.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within government contracts.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to government contracts and healthcare services.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on government contracts and provide training and guidance to team members.
  10. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with government agencies and contract partners.
  11. Monitor and manage budget and financial performance related to government contracts.
  12. Ensure all contract deliverables are met on time and in accordance with quality standards.
  13. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to government contracts.
  14. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the government contracts team.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in government contract management.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Government Contracting Regulations And Processes: A Successful Vp Of Government Contracts At Molina Healthcare Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Contracting Regulations, Including The Federal Acquisition Regulation (Far) And Cost Accounting Standards (Cas).

  • Proven Experience In Managing Government Contracts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large Government Contracts, Including Negotiating Terms And Conditions, Ensuring Compliance, And Managing Subcontractors.

  • Strong Analytical And Financial Skills: A Vp Of Government Contracts At Molina Healthcare Should Possess Strong Analytical And Financial Skills To Effectively Manage And Monitor The Financial Performance Of Government Contracts, Including Cost Proposals, Budgets, And Pricing.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Government Agencies, Subcontractors, And Internal Stakeholders. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: As A Senior-Level Position, The Vp Of Government Contracts Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team. This Includes Delegating Tasks, Providing Guidance And Support, And Fostering A Collaborative And Inclusive Work Environment.
