Certified Nurse Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at MUSC Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). We are looking for a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a current certification as a CNA in South Carolina, and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting. Additionally, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be knowledgeable of medical terminology, and be able to provide a caring and professional attitude.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
2. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to all clinical guidelines.
3. Document patient care activities and progress in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
5. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
6. Assist with positioning and moving patients, as needed.
7. Monitor patient condition and report changes to the RN.
8. Assist in providing comfort and support to patients and their families.
9. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
