We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager for our Specialty Pharmacy department. As the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.   1. Oversee the operations of the Specialty Pharmacy department, ensuring high-quality and efficient services are provided to patients.
  2. Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy, including monitoring for drug interactions, side effects, and appropriate dosing.
  5. Stay up-to-date on advancements in specialty pharmacy and implement best practices to improve patient outcomes.
  6. Oversee medication inventory management, including ordering, storage, and dispensing of medications.
  7. Monitor and analyze specialty pharmacy data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  8. Ensure compliance with insurance and reimbursement requirements for specialty medications.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete records of all pharmacy operations, including patient profiles, drug utilization, and billing.
  10. Serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals, providing drug information and education on specialty medications.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among pharmacy staff and other healthcare providers.
  12. Participate in meetings and committees related to pharmacy services, representing the Specialty Pharmacy department and contributing to overall organizational goals.
  13. Maintain personal and professional development through ongoing education, training, and participation in professional organizations.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy Program.

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Specialty Pharmacy, With A Demonstrated Understanding Of Clinical Management And Operations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Specialty Pharmaceuticals, Including Drug Therapy And Treatment Guidelines, As Well As Experience With Insurance And Reimbursement Processes.
