
Emergency Management Manager
At MUSC Health, we are looking for an Emergency Management Manager to join our team and lead our emergency management efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive emergency management programs across all MUSC Health locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in emergency management and have experience working with healthcare organizations.The Emergency Management Manager should be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. He or she should have the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders, as well as the capacity to think outside the box and develop innovative strategies. Above all, he or she should have a passion for protecting the safety and wellbeing of MUSC Health patients, employees, and visitors.The following qualifications are required:• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field• At least 5 years of experience in emergency management, with experience in the healthcare field preferred• Proven working knowledge of emergency management principles, best practices, and relevant laws• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate emergency management programs• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency with MS Office applicationsIf this sounds like the perfect opportunity to apply your emergency management skills and experience, please apply now! Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive emergency management programs for all MUSC Health locations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and best practices in emergency management.
- Analyze and develop innovative strategies to improve emergency management processes.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of MUSC Health patients, employees, and visitors.
- Create and manage budgets related to emergency management programs.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop effective emergency management plans.
- Provide training and guidance to staff regarding emergency management procedures.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of emergency management programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations regarding emergency management initiatives.
- Remain up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in the field of emergency management.
