Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) MedSurg Unit

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the MedSurg Unit at MUSC Health. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients in the MedSurg Unit
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Assist in the development of care plans that ensure individualized patient care
• Educate patients and families on health topics and medications
• Maintain patient records and complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to ensure patient care is coordinated
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
