
Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
MUSC Health is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare providers to provide the best possible care for infants and their families. To ensure success in this role, we are looking for a team player who has excellent communication and organizational skills, is patient-focused, and has a strong commitment to providing quality care. The ideal candidate should have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and be a graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program. They should also be board-certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) and possess a valid registered nurse license. In addition, the successful candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, and a proven track record of providing evidence-based, family-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality, evidence-based, family-centered care in the NICU setting
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare providers to provide the best possible care for infants and their families
- Maintain a valid registered nurse license and be board-certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Monitor the progress of infants and document their treatment plans
- Educate families on infant care, nutrition, and safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain knowledge of new developments in the field of neonatology
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient care needs
- Follow policies and procedures of the hospital and adhere to state and federal regulations
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology

Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certification
Current South Carolina Registered Nurse License
National Certification As A Nurse Practitioner
Neonatal Advanced Life Support (Nals) Certification
