- Provide exceptional care to patients and their families in the Ambulatory Preop Clinic.
- Work with a diverse group of patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to physicians.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure their needs and preferences are met.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

- Assist with scheduling appointments, procedures, and follow-up care.

Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Bsn Degree Is A Standard Requirement For Registered Nurses And Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory, Research, And Clinical Practice.
Current, Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of South Carolina: This License Is Required To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of South Carolina And Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Necessary Educational And Competency Requirements.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Ambulatory Or Preoperative Setting: This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In Providing Care To Patients In An Outpatient Or Preoperative Setting, Which Is Essential For Success In This Role.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certification Are Required For Registered Nurses In The Ambulatory Preoperative Clinic To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Critical Care To Patients.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Part Of The Interdisciplinary Team, A Registered Nurse In The Ambulatory Preoperative Clinic Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals And Possess Critical Thinking Skills To Make Quick And Accurate Clinical Decisions.
