
School Behavioral Health Coordinator
MUSC Health is seeking a School Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our team of passionate professionals committed to providing best-in-class care for our patients. This role will be responsible for providing direct behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and young adults in a school setting. Responsibilites:
- Provide direct behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and young adults in a school setting.
- Demonstrate knowledge of mental health and behavioral health services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with school personnel, families, and other community providers.
- Utilize clinical best practices in working with school communities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided.
- Provide crisis intervention and help manage behavioral issues.
- Remain informed on relevant mental health legislative updates and best practices.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure appropriate care for students.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach events to promote mental health awareness.
