Sleep Lab Technician

MUSC Health is seeking an experienced Sleep Lab Technician to join our team to provide comprehensive care to our patients with sleep disorders. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive care to patients with sleep disorders in accordance with MUSC Health standards.
2. Maintain and operate sleep lab equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Maintain complete and accurate records of patients’ sleep data and patient care.
4. Monitor patients’ sleeping patterns and alert physicians to any abnormal results.
5. Utilize appropriate diagnostic techniques to identify and document sleep disorders.
6. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
7. Educate patients and their families on proper sleep habits and the importance of proper sleep hygiene.
8. Stay current with the latest developments and advancements in sleep medicine.
9. Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, and preparing reports.
10. Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
