- Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the transportation department.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, including managing staff, schedules, and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, policies, and procedures, including those related to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to coordinate transportation services for patients.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on transportation activities, including budget, vehicle maintenance, and service utilization.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of transportation department employees.

- Build and maintain relationships with external transportation providers, negotiate contracts and rates, and ensure timely and reliable service.

- Participate in organizational meetings and provide updates and recommendations related to transportation services.
- Handle any escalated issues or concerns related to transportation services promptly and effectively.
- Ensure that all transportation equipment is properly maintained and in compliance with safety standards.
- Continuously evaluate and identify areas for improvement within the transportation department and implement necessary changes.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Transportation Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Transportation Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Transportation Budgets And Implementing Cost-Saving Measures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
