  1. Greet and welcome patients to Natera in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Efficiently and accurately collect blood samples from patients for genetic testing.
  3. Ensure proper identification and labeling of all blood samples.
  4. Follow established protocols and procedures for sample collection to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety guidelines.
  6. Provide clear instructions and answer any questions or concerns from patients regarding the sample collection process.
  7. Maintain a high level of compassion and empathy while interacting with patients.
  8. Handle and resolve any issues or concerns related to sample collection in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Keep accurate records of all samples collected and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and seamless patient experience.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  13. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on new procedures and technologies.
  14. Represent Natera in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Phlebotomist At Natera In Laredo, Tx Must Hold A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha). This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Appropriate Training And Possesses The Necessary Skills To Perform Phlebotomy Procedures.

  • Experience: Natera Requires A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Phlebotomy For Its Phlebotomist Position In Laredo, Tx. This Experience Should Include Performing Venipuncture And Capillary Puncture, Handling And Processing Specimens, And Maintaining Accurate Records.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Phlebotomist At Natera. This Includes Knowledge Of Commonly Used Medical Terms, Abbreviations, And Symbols, As Well As The Ability To Correctly Label And Document Specimens.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Phlebotomist At Natera, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail. This Includes Accurately Identifying Patients, Labeling Specimens, And Following Proper Procedures To Prevent Errors And Ensure Patient Safety.
