- Oversee the insurance verification process for all patients, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Train and mentor a team of insurance verification specialists to ensure high-quality work and efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies to stay up-to-date on coverage policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as billing and customer service, to resolve any insurance-related issues or concerns.
- Monitor and analyze insurance verification data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to ensure understanding of insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and policies that may affect the insurance verification process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide updates on insurance verification processes and discuss potential issues or improvements.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing education for the insurance verification team.
- Maintain and update insurance verification databases and systems to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
- Monitor department performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to promote productivity and job satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims.
- Act as a liaison between Natera and insurance companies to resolve any claim denials or appeals.
- Ensure all insurance verification processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or issues related to insurance coverage.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Natera in a positive manner at all times.
- Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Insurance Verification, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.
Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role, With The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Insurance Companies, Patients, And Internal Stakeholders.
