Job Description

We are looking for a talented Application Support Specialist to join our team at Nelnet.As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers. You will be the go-to person for application issues and will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of applications and the ability to quickly identify and solve problems. You should also be able to communicate technical issues to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.We’re looking for someone with:• At least 5 years of experience in application support• A strong understanding of software development life cycles• Excellent customer service and communication skills• The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects• The ability to work independently with minimal supervisionIf you’re driven, detail-oriented, and have a passion for problem-solving, we’d love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding application issues.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Identify and quickly solve problems.
  4. Communicate technical issues to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
  5. Monitor and manage multiple projects.
  6. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest application support technologies and trends.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  9. Follow established procedures and protocols for application support.
  10. Provide training and support to end users.
