Corporate Communications Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute corporate communication strategies that support Nelnet’s mission and values.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Write and edit content for a variety of channels, including press releases, website content, newsletters, brochures, and social media posts.
4. Manage media relations, including responding to inquiries, coordinating interviews, and developing press kits.
5. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of corporate communications strategies and adjust as necessary.
6. Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Create presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
8. Stay up to date on industry trends and changes and ensure that Nelnet’s communications reflect these changes.
