At Nelnet, we are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team and help us make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to interpret data and communicate the results to various stakeholders. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about data, is highly organized and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or finance, with a minimum of one year of experience in data analysis. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design, and be well-versed in SQL, Excel, and/or other data analysis tools. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to think critically, problem solve, and effectively communicate results in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns and develop actionable insights

• Develop and implement data analysis processes and strategies

• Create and maintain data models, databases, and other data structures

• Utilize SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools to derive meaningful insights from data

• Develop data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

• Monitor data trends and issues to facilitate timely decisions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions

• Ensure data accuracy and quality

• Stay up to date with the latest data analysis and data management trends and technologies
