As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with K-12 schools and districts, helping them achieve their financial goals. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with a proven track record in sales and account management, as well as a deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with K-12 schools and districts to promote Nelnet's financial solutions.
  2. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the K-12 education market.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and changes in the K-12 education landscape.
  5. Build and maintain a deep understanding of Nelnet's financial solutions and how they can benefit K-12 schools and districts.
  6. Create and deliver sales presentations to educate clients on Nelnet's products and services.
  7. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing and product development, to develop strategies and materials to effectively promote Nelnet's offerings to the K-12 education market.
  9. Utilize sales tools and systems to track and report on sales activities and progress.
  10. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all sales activities are in accordance with laws and policies.
  11. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Nelnet's brand and products.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge of the K-12 education market.
  13. Be an advocate for Nelnet's mission of making education more accessible and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales Or Account Management, Preferably In The K-12 Education Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Aid And Student Loan Processes

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Stakeholders
