We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Nelnet. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and account management to our loan customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of loan servicing processes. If you have the qualifications to excel in this role, we want to hear from you!Qualifications:• At least two years of experience in loan servicing or related field• A solid understanding of loan servicing processes• Experience with loan origination, loan processing, and loan closing• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• A commitment to providing superior customer service• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Manage loan servicing processes including loan origination, loan processing, and loan closing • Provide excellent customer service and account management to loan customers • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction • Monitor account activity and ensure accuracy of information • Work with loan officers and other personnel to resolve customer queries • Maintain customer records in a secure, confidential manner • Proactively identify and address potential issues • Develop and maintain relationships with customers • Assist in the development of loan servicing policies and procedures • Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic at all times
