  1. Provide administrative support to the Food & Nutrition department, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  2. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
  3. Coordinate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient care.
  4. Communicate with patients and their families to gather necessary information and address any concerns.
  5. Assist in organizing and coordinating events and programs related to nutrition and wellness.
  6. Manage inventory and supplies for the department, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
  7. Create and maintain documents and spreadsheets to track departmental activities and expenses.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, and handle inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  10. Uphold the organization's mission and values by promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all individuals.
  11. Follow all organizational policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Nutrition department management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Food And Nutrition Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Food And Nutrition Services, Including Meal Planning, Menu Development, And Dietary Restrictions.

  • Administrative Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Administrative Experience In A Healthcare Setting, With Strong Organizational, Communication, And Multitasking Skills.

  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency In Various Computer Programs, Including Microsoft Office And Electronic Health Record Systems, Is Essential For This Role To Efficiently Manage Scheduling, Data Entry, And Record-Keeping.

  • Customer Service Skills: The Ability To Provide Excellent Customer Service Is Crucial For This Role, As The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis.
