  1. Perform all aspects of embryology procedures, including oocyte retrieval, insemination, embryo culture, and embryo transfer.
  2. Conduct quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all lab results.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
  4. Analyze and interpret data from laboratory tests and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the fertility team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families to provide updates and answer any questions regarding the embryology process.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and results.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of embryology and implement new techniques and procedures as needed.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills.
  11. Act as a mentor to junior staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  12. Follow all regulatory and ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
  14. Represent Northwell Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Embryology, Reproductive Biology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Embryologist In A Clinical Or Research Setting.

  • Certification From The American Board Of Bioanalysis (Abb) Or The American Board Of Embryology (Abe).

  • Proficient In Performing Techniques Such As In Vitro Fertilization (Ivf), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (Icsi), And Embryo Biopsy.

  • Strong Understanding Of Reproductive Technologies, Fertility Treatments, And Laboratory Quality Control Processes.
