  1. Perform various laboratory techniques and procedures to assist in the creation and preservation of embryos.
  2. Handle and process human reproductive cells and tissues with utmost care and precision.
  3. Maintain strict adherence to ethical and legal guidelines in all aspects of the job.
  4. Utilize advanced reproductive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and embryo cryopreservation.
  5. Conduct quality control checks on equipment and materials to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  6. Keep detailed and accurate records of procedures, results, and patient information.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide the best possible care for patients.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field of reproductive technology.
  9. Educate and counsel patients on the procedures and treatments involved in the process of assisted reproduction.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  11. Participate in research projects and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  12. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the fertility treatment process.
  13. Attend trainings, conferences, and workshops to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  15. Adhere to Northwell Health's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Embryology, Reproductive Biology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification By The American Board Of Bioanalysis (Abb) As An Embryology Laboratory Director.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Embryologist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Proficient In All Aspects Of Assisted Reproductive Technology (Art) Procedures, Including Ivf, Icsi, And Embryo Transfer.

  • Strong Attention To Detail, Critical Thinking Skills, And Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
