Job Description

Northwell Health is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for our Emergency Medicine department. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and will serve as a resource for pharmacists and other healthcare providers.The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Pharmacy and must be eligible for licensure in New York State. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is committed to delivering the highest quality of service. Responsibilities:

Job Qualifications

  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharm.d.)

  • Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy

  • At Least Years Of Experience In Emergency Medicine

  • Knowledge Of The Principles Of Safe And Effective Medication Use

  • Demonstrated Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In The Emergency Medicine Setting

  • Ability To Establish And Maintain Effective Relationships With Medical Staff

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
