Job Description

Northwell Health is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an IT&S Project Manager for Epic Device Integration.   1. Lead and manage projects focused on integrating medical devices with the Epic electronic health record system.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop project plans.
  3. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  4. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including IT staff, healthcare professionals, and senior management.
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
  6. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to healthcare technology.
  8. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of integrated systems to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  9. Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes.
  10. Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology.
  12. Mentor and provide guidance to junior project team members.
  13. Maintain documentation and project records in accordance with company policies.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Represent the company and project team in a professional and ethical manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Specifically Within The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Epic Electronic Medical Record (Emr) System And Experience With Device Integration.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex It Projects, Including Budgeting, Timelines, And Stakeholder Communication.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
